Sara Beames

Sara has been studying art since she was 11 years old. She has her BA in Art History from San Francisco State University where she first learned of the art of fusing glass.

"Light is the element in glass that relates both to its form and function; it is light that sparks the adventure of design."

The art of fusing glass dates back 4000 years to the Middle East and this is where Sara draws her inspiration for her Judaic designs.

Sara has incorporated her love of glass and contemporary design with the ancient kiln fired technique of glass fusing to create elegant Jewish Ritual Objects for the celebration of life in the home.
