 John Iya
John lives and carves in Zimbabwe, Africa. He began his career as a builder and plumber for a local construction company and became more interested in the tradition of stone carving. He successfully blends the Shona tradition with his own unique vision.
John's hope for the future is "bringing fresh ideas to art that can help in the further improvement of stone art."
