Shannon is an award-winning photographer from California. The images she creates are not just photographs but pieces of her imagination inspired by her surroundings.

"From an early age I have been fascinated with images, the light and shadow, texture color and form. Concepts were in my mind that I could not put down into a tangible form. I had no native ability in painting or drawing, so naturally photography became an outlet for my ideas and emotions. Photography provides me with a way to respond and capture the beauty around me. Photography as a fine art is my passion. My principle interest in making images is to interpret my dreams and inner thoughts. I strive to invoke thought, mood and emotion in all of my work."
