 Shlomo Shuval
Shlomo is an Israeli-born craftsman and artist who has been working in rock mediums since 1979. After having worked both sculpting and dyeing rocks for over fifteen years, he has come up with a technological breakthrough enabling him to create a new dimension in the visual arts. His slate work is a method of directly and permanently transferring images onto stone. It is a silkscreen like process in which a thin web is embedded in the surface of the rock itself to create three dimensional and special effects.
