Sculpted by Smithsonian-shown ceramist Tim Ballingham and his wife, Pamala, the luminary is deeply textured with stars, spirals, swirls or shells.
After sculpting, the luminary is low-kiln fired and then hand-painted in brilliant gold.
The spiritual magic of this extraordinary piece is brought to life by lighting the small candle inside, its flame accentuating the golden interior to create a deep and intensely radiant glow.
